Here are some answers to my most FAQ's

How much are your notebooks?

Prices vary depending on the size of the book. They start from £7 for a ladybird book with plain paper, if you would like the pages printed with lines etc, then you need to add an upgrade to your order which costs  £2 (so £9 in total) plus postage.

When should I expect my notebook to arrive?

As each book is made to your order it can currently take up to 8 working days to make and ship your notebook.

I post all orders by Royal Mail, first or second class, signed for in the UK and Airmail Tracked.

How do I order?

Please visit my shop and choose a book cover. Add the book to your basket for a plain paper notebook.

If you would like it as a diary or with lines etc then please add an upgrade to your basket too, before you checkout.

Can I return my item?

I’m sorry, but as each Retro from Scratch notebook is custom-made / made to order I cannot accept refunds or exchanges.

However if for some reason an item is faulty or incorrect then please let me know within 7 days so I can rectify the problem. Refunds can only be made to the original purchaser for faulty items.

Can I buy refills?

I can refill your books for you if you wish to send the covers back. (Although it is often cheaper to purchase another book)

Can I add more than one upgrade per book?

A £2 upgrade covers the cost of printing the standard 140 blank pages that come with each book. it does not cover the costs of extra paper, larger spine and the extra postage (paper is heavy!).

Some upgrades give you the option for a thicker book (360 pages) so on special request I can mix upgrades for you - please contact me first before placing an order.

The thicker book is £9 extra rather than £2. This covers the cost of the additional paper, printing, spine and of course postage!

How long will my food diary last?

A standard food diary will last just over four months or a year. A Meal Planner will last a year. All other diaries and planners last a year with the option for three years in most cases.

Can I send you a book to transform into a notebook?

Yes, you can find all the details on how to do this, here

Why can't I see the book or upgrade I want in your shop?

If you can't see the book or upgrade then this means it is no longer available

70 sheets which is 140 pages for a standard notebook.

A chunky notebook upgrade will contain 180 sheets, 360 pages.

Which courier service do you use?

I use Royal Mail's First Class and Second Class signed-for large letter or small parcel service. I also use Parcel Force for larger items. and Evri is a cheaper option if you prefer

My order hasn't arrived yet, what next?

Make sure that you have checked you postage address is correct and that at least 7 working days have passed from the shipping date before getting in touch. All orders are sent first class signed for and tracked, including international orders, so once you have been in contact I will be able to investigate further. For an item to be 'officially lost' a 14 working day period from the date of posting must pass before I can refund your order and make a claim.

I do not take any responsibility for any delays in delivery, refunds will only be given if an item is proved to be lost.
